As I mentioned last week, I’m trying a new experiment. The gist is this: If it’s difficult to ask startup questions in public, maybe folks should have a way to ask them anonymously. And I’m happy to report that the questions are starting to roll — or maybe trickle — in. But they deserve answers. So let’s do that.
Here’s the question (sanitized to maintain anonymity):
I miss engaging with the Portland startup community. I’m slowly, and I mean very slowly, starting to get events and attend them on my calendar. However, I feel like I’m living vicariously through what I read… Is there a group of folks out there that are trying to break the lock on our day jobs have on our energy and creativity? Is anyone willing to be my accountability buddy?
