I love event recaps. There are so many different things going around here that there’s no possible way to attend them all. So when someone takes the time to capture their experience, it truly helps anyone. Take the annual meeting of the Portland Alternative Investment Association (PAIA). I wasn’t able to make that one. But Kathryn Latham was — and she provided five key takeaways from the gathering.

Final note – if you’re a startup leader, consider attending PAIA’s events. This is NOT the right place to pitch your startup. This IS the right place to get the latest and greatest on the broader capital/investment landscape in our state.
