Portland tends to be big on “anecdotal evidence.” You know, like where we claim we’re the “de facto hub” of things…? So I always like it when folks provide some data driven insights to help us better understand what’s happening — or not happening — here in comparison to other startup communities. Peter Walker of Carta has done just that.
While Portland doesn’t come close to ranking, it is interesting to see who does. Our neighbors to the north and, of course, the south have strong showings.
