Continuing the fireside chat events series that featured Black founders during Black History Month and women founders during Women’s History Month, a collective of startup support organizations — Built Oregon, Latino Founders, Pitch Black, Pitch Latino, PIE, and Vanport Studio — are celebrating Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander founders and community leaders during AAPI Heritage Month in May.
That’s why Built Oregon, Latino Founders, Pitch Black, Pitch Latino, PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment), and Vanport Studio are partnering to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) founders and community leaders by learning more about their journeys.
Join us for an evening of fireside chats hosted by PIE mentor and alum Julia Niiro as we all get up to date on the latest and greatest from founders in our community.
The AAPI event takes place May 13, 2025, at 5:00PM, hosted at Instrument — all as part of Portland Startup Week 2025. It is free to attend but space is limited. (And if you’re interested in attending other events that this crew has on the docket, there’s “Show up for small business” in April and “Portland startup community cookout” in July.)
