Some great feedback from previous “Where are they now…?” events — like our one with Black founders and our one with women founders — was that people could use more context for folks taking the stage. I mean, the organizers clearly know who all of the people are, but sometimes the audience doesn’t. So let’s change that for the upcoming event.
Who will be taking the stage on May 13…?
- Pat Cheung, Metro Region Innovation Hub
- Zhou Fang, Intersectional Group
- John Furukawa, Uncorked Studios
- Kimiko Matsuda, Multnomah Whiskey Library and Pitch Black Food
- Holly Ong, Sibeiho
- Tom Sollitt, Asian American Town, Legendary Makers Market, and I Hope You Get Rich
- Ken Tomita, Grovemade
- Lisa Tran, Tân Tân Café & Delicatessen
- Quang Truong, UrbanForm
And then, of course, PIE mentor and alum Julia Niiro will be interviewing folks. And we’re still planning another surprise or two for attendees.
Hope to see you at this free event on May 13, 2025, at Instrument, starting at 5:00PM.
