Not everyone enjoys the “I’ll just dabble with this until I figure it out” approach to new technology. And that’s absolutely okay. But it’s important that we provide a variety of learning opportunities for the vast array of learning styles out there. Especially with subject matter that changes as rapidly as AI. That’s why I’m happy to see two new offerings designed to get people up to speed on getting the most out of AI.
AI Launchpad NW

Oregon AI Bootcamp
Are you a founder interested in learning how to launch an AI company? Sign up for the 3-day Oregon AI Startup Bootcamp a hands-on program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs turn their AI ideas into real-world ventures.
Hosted in Oregon’s thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem through a partnership between Metro Region Innovation Hub, Oregon Entrepreneurs Network, Propel PSU, Technology Association of Oregon, and TiE Oregon, this bootcamp provides foundational knowledge in business formation as well as go to market and fund raising strategies. Participants will gain access to expert-led workshops and practical sessions that will cover everything from company formation and identifying market opportunities to marketing, generating sales, and how to scale.
Oregon AI Bootcamp takes place Monday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00AM until 4:00PM each day. It will be help at the Portland State University Business Accelerator. Tickets are $199.00 with $100.00 discounts extended to OEN, TAO, and TiE members. Ticket costs also cover food and drink for each day.
