Now, Outlook users and teams can automatically protect uninterrupted focus time, optimize their meetings, manage multiple calendars, and solve their most complex scheduling challenges with AI.

It’s always nice to see founders continuing to pursue startup ideas — especially in an industry that can burn so many people out. That’s why I was really happy to hear that, even though Michael Ulin was leaving his role as the founding CTO at Paxton, he was already considering his next pursuit.

While it’s common for acquisitions to involve Portland startups, more often than not, a Portland startup tends to be the acquired entity rather than the acquirer. But this time, it’s Portland startup Orca Security that is acquiring New York startup Opus.
