Portland’s Panic publishing portfolio provides pack-based play

Panic just does good work. Consistently. Regardless of the genre or medium they choose. They’re truly a Portland treasure — even though few people realize that they’re here. So whenever they release something meaningful, I like to make note of it. Like the release of their latest game, Herdling.

Herdling is a brand new adventure from Okomotive, creators of the atmospheric and acclaimed FAR games, and Panic, publishers of Firewatch.

Head out on a grand alpine expedition with a herd of loveable beasts, as you ascend a mountain path, encounter eerie dangers and surprising obstacles, and forge your way to the mystery at the summit.

Herdling is very dear to us,” says Don Schmocker, Okomotive cofounder and creative director. “We really enjoyed working on it during the past years and can’t wait to see players having fun running around with the Calicorns and exploring the mountains!”

The game was released this week. It’s available on Epic Game Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S. MSRP is $24.99.
