Howl at the Spoon lands on the TiE Women Global stage

You may remember that I encouraged you to submit your application to participate in the TiE Women pitch competition a few months back. And why did I say you should do that…? That’s right. Because you could have the chance to be on a global stage. And apparently, some folks listened. Because Howl at the Spoon now has the opportunity to be on a global stage in India for the TiE Women finals.

The program consists of a series of local and global events and culminates with one women-led business from Oregon competing in a Global Pitch Competition for an award up to $50k equity-free prize money to winners and runners-up.

The local program is part of the larger Global TiE Women’s Program. The global pitch competition will be held in January 2026 at the TiE Global Summit in Jaipur, India.

Howl at the Spoon walked away with the top prize. Yak took the runner up position. And Yuzi Care was also recognized.

I’ll keep an eye on the global competition to let you know how Howl fares.
