So much of what I share here tends to be at the very beginning stages of startup pursuits. So I always welcome the opportunity to show examples of those startups making actual progress with customers. Take this case study from Portland startup UrbanForm and their work in Yamhill County.
We worked with each city’s planning department, community development department, GIS technicians, elected officials, and many more to make UrbanForm Yamhill the one-stop place to get up-to-date information on parcels, zoning regulations, and more.
This was collaboration across many partners, private and public–as far as we know, the first of its kind. Thanks go to so many folks, so forgive us for calling out specifically: the Strategic Economic Development Corporation (SEDCOR), the Newberg Workforce Housing Consortium (NWHC), including employers such as A-dec, George Fox University, and Providence Health, each and every jurisdiction (the Cities of Amity, Carlton, Dayton, Dundee, Lafayette, McMinnville, Newberg, Sheridan, Willamina, and Yamhill, and Yamhill County itself), and our invaluable partners in the Missing Middle Housing Fund (MMHF)…
