Hadn’t heard about this yet, so I wanted to make sure that you knew… There’s another 4K4Community fun run coming up at the end of September. And, as always, it’s going to serve as a fundraiser for local nonprofits.
The 4K4Community Fun Run is a 4 km (2.49 mi) running and walking event that raises funds for local nonprofits and is unique in that 100% of your registration fee is tax-deductible! The 2025 beneficiaries are… Birch Community Services, Forest Park Conservancy, Path Home, and POIC!
This year, the run starts and ends at Salmon Street Springs downtown on the waterfront. After finishing, you’ll head a few blocks up to the Migration Brewing PacWest patio pop up (minors welcome!) for the afterparty! Celebrate with free drinks and snacks, music and mingling, and learn about the work being done by these nonprofits to better our community. Participants who register by September 12 will also receive a commemorative event t-shirt.
The event takes place on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
