Getting in on those “Cyber Monday” deals

I don’t always provide discounts. But when I do, I try to provide discounts at a time when they make sense. You know, like Cyber Monday. When folks are supposed to get online deals on things and stuff. And so, if you’ve been looking for deals, here are another couple of deals to throw on the pile.

  • Silicon Florist job board – When times are good, there are all kinds of random roles populating the Silicon Florist job board. However, when times are tight — like right now — it’s tumbleweeds and crickets. That said, I know some folks are still hiring. But I’m worried that the price point might be preventing them from posting. So I’ve dropped the prices on the job board. No discount code needed. All of the prices are lower. Like starting at $5 lower. So please consider posting a job or three today.
  • My Patreon – I write Silicon Florist because I love sharing stuff about our community. I post to YouTube and podcasting platforms because I enjoy being bad at things. But it turns out, that I create an awful lot of content. And — stranger yet — folks seem to value that. So if you’re interested in keeping track of me and the work I do, you can always join my Patreon. For free. But if you think what I’m doing has actual value and you’d like to kick in some financial support, I’m providing a 75% discount on paid annual Patreon memberships through the end of the year. Just use the code “89D3E” at checkout for an annual membership at that translates to about a $1.50 for an entire year. Which is like the cost of a cup of coffee in 1998 or something. Without even using a time machine. (And yes, I’m thinking through more ways to provide value to folks who are kind enough to provide financial support for the work that I do.)

Hope you’re having a happy Cyber Monday. See you in cyberspace.
