Who is taking the stage at TiE Oregon Westside Pitch 2026…? Well the winner from 2025 for one

If a founder comes back to be part of the pitch event that they won last year…? That’s a pretty good sign that the pitch competition was valuable. And that’s exactly what’s happening with Akshay Gupta — who won $25,000 in investment during Westside Pitch 2025 with Sez Us. This year…? He’s the emcee. Which leads me to ask: Who is in the running to be emcee next year…?

Westside Pitch has become a leading platform for supporting early-stage entrepreneurs in Washington County. Designed to elevate promising startups, the program connects founders with investors, mentors, and the broader regional innovation ecosystem. Over the past four years, Westside Pitch has invested or awarded approximately $150,000 to more than 15 local companies.

But before they can take the emcee gig from Akshay, they’ll need to impress judges Ivo Lukas, Angela Taylor, and Saby Waraich on April 23, 2026, at Hidden Creek Community Center in Hillsboro.

Tickets are $5 for members and $15 for everybody else. Doors open at 5:30PM. Light dinner is served.
