Our friends at Latino Founders just opened applications for its Next Wave Startup Lab — Climate Edition — a 3-day crash-course-style workshop running May 29–31, 2026, in Portland. Applications are rolling, but they close the same day the workshop kicks off.
An immersive, hands-on startup education program that helps early-stage climate founders move from idea to action through interactive workshops, real-time mentor feedback, and peer collaboration — grounded in real user needs, market realities, and community impact.
The lab is targeting climate founders at the idea-to-prototype stage, with priority going to the Portland MSA (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill) and the Southwest Washington counties (Clark, Columbia, Skamania). Sectors of interest: clean energy, climate infrastructure, sustainable agriculture, and circular economy.
It’s the operational on-ramp into Latino Founders’ broader 10-week PCEF-funded climate accelerator — and one more entry for the list of Portland startup programs working to give founders guidance and a place to start.
