I know. I know. “Building with AI” was a little bit of a wide net to cast. But you’re reading this aren’t you…? So let’s get into the real focus of this post. Our friends at the Oregon AI Accelerator are actively recruiting for their next cohort of startups. And if you’re building something interesting in, on, or around AI, you could potentially be a good fit for their program. So you should apply.
The Oregon AI Accelerator is a public-private partnership uniting Oregon’s leading entrepreneur support organizations, venture funds, and research universities. By combining Google Cloud infrastructure, expert mentorship, and Oregon’s collaborative ethos, we empower founders to build globally competitive AI companies.
And they’re looking to select up to 15 startups to participate in their second cohort.
So what does the program entail…? The 11 week cohort promises:
- Balanced format combining focused in-person days at PSU with deep asynchronous build sprints, ensuring founders have maximum execution time.
- Committed mentor bench with signed mutual NDAs, no-solicitation guarantees, two-sided matching, and a floor of ≥1 dedicated lead mentor per team.
- Enhanced co-working environment with independent access cards, private phone booths, dedicated monitor workstations, and conference facilities.
- Funded by public-private regional grants and higher-ed partners. We take zero equity or ownership in your startup.
Sound interesting…? You’ve still got a couple of days to make your decision and get your application submitted. Applications for this cohort are due September 15, 2026.
