If you run a small brand or small business in Portland — not a tech startup; an actual small business — the neverending onslaught of AI blah blah must be a challenge. I mean, it’s challenging for me and I’m actually interested and have the luxury of being able to monitor this stuff. I’m not trying to run my own business and figure out what all of this means. That’s why I’m happy to see Bricks Need Mortar and the Portland Office of Small Business teaming up to help.
Everyone’s talking about AI and like it or not, it’s now a part of our every day lives. There are plenty of seminars and workshops on how to use AI in your small business, but they lack an understanding of your business’s unique value proposition – Authenticity. This Shop Talk is designed to be an open discussion with your peers on the benefits and downsides and how to best engage with AI. We will have small business champion and AI subject matter expert, Isaiah Steinfeld of Neue Alchemy to listen and answer any questions. This is also a great opportunity to connect, collaborate and network with peers.
