Latino Founders preps a new home: Founders Hub Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Latino Founders took a huge step forward when they transitioned from a relatively virtual organization to having a physical space in Southeast Portland. But they weren’t stopping there. Now, they’ve announced that — come August — Latino Founders will be expanding their physical footprint and relocating to the Pearl District.

At a time when conversations about Oregon’s economy often focus on the companies leaving, we believe it is equally important to recognize the entrepreneurs choosing to stay. Every day, founders across the state are launching companies, hiring employees, developing new technologies, opening storefronts, and investing in their communities.

Those entrepreneurs deserve the infrastructure, resources, and community needed to succeed.

For nearly a decade, Latino Founders has worked alongside entrepreneurs from the earliest stages of their journey. We have seen what happens when founders gain access to mentorship, education, capital, and a strong network. Businesses grow. Jobs are created. Families build wealth. Communities become stronger.

That belief is what inspired the Founders Hub.

The Portland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit is opening the Founders Hub Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a 15,000-square-foot space at 207 NW Park Avenue in downtown Portland. The hub will serve as the organization’s permanent home. The team begins operating from the space beginning in August, with a public Grand Opening celebration planned for this fall.

The Founders Hub is built to offer collaborative workspace, educational programming, mentorship, networking, and investor engagement, along with resources for the entrepreneurs the organization serves. It will house Latino Founders’ core programs, including its Business Accelerator, Pre-Accelerator, the Next Wave climate tech cohort, as well as operations for Pitch Latino.
