First, they simplified their office structure. Now, they’ve simplified their name. BankSimple is now Simple.

First, they simplified their office structure. Now, they’ve simplified their name. BankSimple is now Simple.

Not so long ago, BankSimple announced that they had decided to consolidate their New York, San Francisco, and Portland offices, by moving their headquarters to Portland.

Today, they announced another change for the company. They’re no longer BankSimple. Now, they’re simply Simple.

Today is a new beginning for another reason as well: BankSimple is now Simple. Simple is a better representation of what we aspire to. It releases us from the constraints of an industry in desperate need of innovation.

Simple is a clear and powerful reminder of our purpose, and we’re excited to write our next chapter under this banner.

For more on the change and the reasoning behind it, see the blog post on Simple. You can still follow them on Twitter at @BankSimple. The @Simple account is owned by someone else, currently.
