Slate Technologies will be our host for the 19th iteration of Portland Lunch 2.0 on August 5.
Even though they’re a relatively young company, Slate should already be well known to the community. You may recall Slate introduced itself to Portland by hosting a Beer and Blog back in April and started the campaign to save CubeSpace in May.
Plus, you probably know the Slate team personally through other community events and/or Twitter. They are:
- Chris O’Rourke (@chrisorourke)
- Elizabeth Buckwalter (@elizabetcb)
- Daniel Erickson (@techwraith)
- Jeffrey Erickson (@jeffreykaine)
Slate offers technology consulting, web design, corporate branding and IT services, running the gamut of technology and design services.
Update: I neglected to mention Shelley (@addictedtotext) who is interning at Slate. Sorry about the omission. I blame Chris.
Here’s the skinny on the lunch:
Hosts: Slate Technologies
Where: 6315 SE Holgate Blvd.Portland, OR 97206
When: August 5, 2009 from 12 PM to 2 PM
Chris tells me that additional parking will be arranged, if you’re inclined to drive or carpool.
Please RSVP on Upcoming so the hosts can get an idea of how much grub to get. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, drop a comment on the event page for planning, unless you don’t want to eat.
Don’t forget these Lunch 2.0s, coming soon:
- July 15 hosted by Pacific Real Estate Partners at Jive Software
- August 5 hosted by Slate Technologies
Big thanks to all the hosts who have hosted or plan to host Lunch 2.0. Drop a comment (or tweet @jkuramot) if you want information about hosting one. It’s easy.

Yeah it’s being worked on. We are almost done with the redesign of the site!
Sorry about that. You should get on to Chris to update the Meet the Team portion of slatetechpdx.com.
You forgot me! 😉
