[HTML3]Like many bloggers, I’m wee bit addicted to tracking and stats and whatnot. Who’s reading what? When are they reading it? What’s popular? What’s not? Does anyone really care?
I want to know. And that’s why, real-time Web-traffic analysis like Portland-based Clicky‘s Spy feature are especially addicting for me, as well.
So imagine my surprise when the interface suddenly changed on me today—for the better.
While I haven’t seen an official Clicky announcement or blog post yet, the Clicky Twitter account did mention that they were working on it. I’m just not sure if they’re still testing the interface or if it’s officially released.
UPDATE
Clicky has posted a blog entry about the updates to Spy. And they’ve included a video as well.

Honestly, I had a difficult time closing the window before when it just kept updating links and IP addresses. But now? Now I can’t take my eyes off of it.
Why? It’s super easy to see what’s happening on your site: who’s there, where they’re from, how many people are currently on the site. All available at a glance.
And it just keeps updating. And updating. And updating.
