Okay. So I’m not the Daily Journal of Commerce. But I’m also not one to let an interesting real estate deal go by the wayside.
Portland’s ISITE has just announced that they’re moving into 18,000 sq ft in Northwest Portland—the former LA Fitness building.
Looking at potential locations, we came to realize that as our digital world becomes more virtual, the physical spaces we collaborate in are more important than ever. Looking at traditional office locations, we were not finding spaces that would create the type of environment we wanted to provide our employees.
We also wanted to cement our roots in the city of Portland, while continuing to open up new strategic hubs like Boston around the world. The creativity and culture of the Pacific Northwest has helped fuel our growth and played a big role in shaping our core values as an agency.
Now, calling ISITE a startup is a stretch. But still. They’re kind of reinventing themselves. Earning Google certifications—the first Google Analytics Certified Partner in Oregon, as a matter of fact. A launching new initiatives like Day2.
And for as much guff as we give folks about moving their corporate headquarters around here, we should take a moment to laud those who are choosing to make Portland their home.
