Get two beers for the price of one: Groupon sponsors Beer and Blog Portland

You know what’s nice? Free beer. What’s even nicer? Free beer on a summer day. Nicer still is when that free beer is paid for by someone to whom you’ve given money. And nicest of all? When that free beer drinking is wedged between two awesome tech events with interesting people.

Well get ready to be happy. This week (summer), Beer and Blog Portland is sponsored (free beer) by Groupon (someone to whom you may have given money) right in between Open Source Bridge and IndieWebCamp (two awesome tech evens with super interesting people).

Former Beer and Blog captain Kerry Finsand will represent on behalf of Groupon Portland, so make sure to say hi and congratulate him on his new marketing role (where he gets to do this kind of thing all the time, maybe even at a future Beer and Blog? Hint, hint…). In addition to providing beer for all attendees, one very lucky person will win a $100 Groupon gift certificate! You must be present to win.

As an added bonus, it’s the pre-party for IndieWebCamp, which takes place at Urban Airship, this weekend.

As always, Beer and Blog starts around 4 PM at the Green Dragon. For more information, visit Beer and Blog Portland or Calagator.

  1. I look forward to catching up with everyone and meeting new people. It looks like the sun might even be out this afternoon.

    Cheers

    Kerry
