Former Apple and TiVo exec, Clent Richardson has joined the board of FlightStats, the company announced today.
Clent comes to FlightStats—a leading provider of day-of-travel data services and applications to the travel industry—at a time when the company is enjoying a 40% year over year growth.
“Clent brings a vast wealth of experience in growing global technology companies,” said CEO Jeff Kennedy in a press release. “His operational and marketing expertise, as well as his experience in developing consumer and developer relationships will be invaluable as we strive to grow FlightStats as the go-to travel resource for both individual travelers as well as developers who use our data to power their mobile consumer applications.”
Clent is Managing Director of Huntington Hill Ventures and brings more than 25 years of C-level executive experience developing winning strategies and delivering flawless execution with companies such as Apple, AOL, AVG, Immersion, TiVo and T-Mobile where he drove organizational and operational transformations by building high performance teams and creating vision to deepen customer loyalty, drive efficiencies, focus, and deliver key business metrics.
Oddly enough, this isn’t the first aircraft themed Portland startup for Clent. Earlier this year, he joined the board of Urban Airship.
