[Full disclosure: I work for PIE.] The wait is almost over. We’re about 24 hours away from a whole new crop of PIE (Portland Incubator Experiment) startups taking the stage. And even though the event has been sold out for weeks, they’d like to invite you to attend—from the comfort of your own Web browser.
That’s right. Even if you didn’t get a ticket, you can still attend PIE Demo Day by tuning into the livestream at 2:00 PM Pacific Time (5:00PM Eastern), this Friday, October 5, 2012, and following the hashtag #piedemo. (Or just watching below.)

PIE is a startup accelerator sponsored in part by Portland-based Wieden+Kennedy—an agency known for “Just Do It” and the “Old Spice Guy” who was just named Agency of Record for Facebook—and companies like Google and Coca-Cola. This is the second official class for the accelerator. PIE alumni include Urban Airship, AppFog, Epipheo, Simple, Cloudability, VendScreen, Athletepath, and MoPix, among others.
For more information on the program, visit PIE, follow @piepdx on Twitter, like PIE on Facebook, or follow PIE on AngelList.
