It’s the height of the event season. And with that, comes the opportunity for any number of hackathons. Local startup Act-On is looking to attract a bunch of talented developers to join them this weekend with a hack that focuses on gaming and green—all for the good of the community.
Wait what? That’s right. It’s like a mashup of all the hot topics today. It’s the “Gamify Green for Good” Hackathon.
What the what?
With the “Gamify Green for Good” Hackathon, Act-On wants to make it easy for inspired coders and designers to create an open API mashup that drives green, community-based offline behavior. Our collective goal: To do good, better. This Hackathon runs 9:30 am–11:00 pm, Saturday, April 6. All meals and beverages provided.
Sound interesting? You can register at the Act-On Gamify Green for Good Hackathon.
The event begins at 9:30AM on April 6 at Act-On headquarters in Beaverton and concludes at around 11PM.
