Come fly with us: Urban Airship snaps up Nike veteran to head up customer success

Portland’s Urban Airship continues to rise. Becoming a dominant force in the mobile industry, the company has focused recent efforts on building out an executive staff with the experience to manage the company’s continued growth. Today, Urban Airship announced they have hired John Schroeder as Vice President of Customer Success.

As the former global infrastructure director at Nike, Schroeder brings 22 years of experience in strategic planning and implementation of large-scale global initiatives to drive business outcomes. The creation of this new role and John’s appointment follows the announcement of Urban Airship’s expanded strategic focus on delivering Mobile Relationship Management (MRM) solutions and its introduction of new strategic services to help brands and marketers to earn and maintain a presence on their customers’ mobile devices.
