START Portland: Pensole hosts digitalundivided, iUrbanTeen, Startup PDX Challenge, and TAO, March 19

The Portland Development Commission—most notably through its Startup PDX: Challenge program—has been focusing more and more effort on helping to increase the diversity of the Portland startup scene. And it’s already beginning to have some very positive effects. START Portland promises to continue the momentum, this Wednesday.

On March 19th, 2014 at 6pm, enjoy a fireside chat between Kathryn Finney, Founder & Managing Director of digitalundivided – an outspoken advocate for women in technology, an honors graduate of Yale and Rutgers Universities, and an expert on building women-centered online properties and Deena Pierott, Founder & Executive Director of iUrbanTeen.

Kathryn is also the recipient of numerous awards and has been named one of AOL’s Top Women in Money, Black Enterprise’s “40 Stars Under 40,″ Ebony Magazine’s Power 100, and honored as a Champion of Change for Tech Inclusion by the White House.

The event will be hosted at Pensole.
