Portland startup Supportland gets a surprise cameo in Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee"

As you may have heard, Jerry Seinfeld was around Portland a while back. And now we know why. He was busy chatting with Fred Armisen of Portlandia for his show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. And there are a few surprises.

Apparently, Seinfeld loves Portland. He hates fixies. He gets to pump his own gas. And Jerry gets a bit annoyed with how slow service is in town.

They grabbed some coffee at Coava and then headed over to Paxton Gate. And that’s when another surprise came up. Around 17:30, Portland startup Supportland gets a mention.

Not many Portland startups can say they got mentioned by Seinfeld.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee: Fred Armisen

  1. This is fucking fantastic. That is all.

  2. Our company culture is founded on hilarity and to have two kings of comedy even speak our name…WOW. So badass. And since I kind of feel like we just won an award, I’d also like to thank Paxton Gate for being on it and Rick for the write up!
