New Portland Business Journal 40 under 40 features an appreciable number of startup types

There was a time in the Portland business world when the Portland Business Journal 40 under 40 provided an impressive list of young and talented service providers—lawyers, accountants, realtors, agencies—in the area. But very few of the folks selected—if any—were from the startup scene. I’m happy to say, that’s been changing. Gradually. But the latest list? Whoa. It’s chock full of tech talent.

The following talented folks from the tech startup scene were named to this year’s list:

  • Ian Bell, Digital Trends
  • Ryan Carson, Treehouse
  • Paul Culp, Supergenius
  • Theressa Dulaney, Comcast (who has helped as a sponsor on numerous occasions)
  • Chris Harder, Portland Development Commission (who has been a huge proponent for the startup scene)
  • John Koenig, Chirpify
  • Molly Lindquist, Consano
  • Jon MacDonald, The Good
  • Kimberly White, Vacasa

Plus, there are a whole bunch of other awesome folks in the mix.

Take a few minutes to thumb through this year’s Portland Business Journal 40 under 40.
