If you’re in the startup scene, you’re already likely aware that there is an annual event that takes place in March in Austin, Texas, called SXSW. It’s kind of a big deal. But did you know there is a second smaller SXSW that takes place in Las Vegas? It’s true. It’s called SXSW V2V and it’s all about startups. And you could go. If you apply to take part in the SXSW V2Venture Showcase.
The third annual SXSW V2Venture Vegas-style pitch competition will take place on Wednesday, July 22 at Bellagio Las Vegas in Las Vegas. A live audience, as well as a panel of expert judges will discover advancements in various sectors of emerging technology. Catch a glimpse of the industry’s future, with a guided tour by our emcees and judges.
If you’re selected, you get to present on stage—and you get two free passes to the event. Which makes the $100 application fee seem like a mere pittance.
What’s more, SXSW V2V provides a more intimate event to meet with both your startup peers and the speakers at the event. Much like SXSW Interactive in the early days.
The deadline for applications is May 1, 2015. So get on it.
