I know, I know. You’re still stressing about getting everything done for 2015. But guess what? 2016 is a whole bundle of startup stress just waiting to happen. That’s why I’m happy to give you a chance to celebrate, hang out with your peers, and blow off some steam. All you have to do is survive a month. Well and a week. If you want to participate.
Portland Startup Week 2016 is rapidly approaching. And we want to make sure you’re there. Because you’ve been a very good startup type this year.
What’s Portland Startup Week? It’s a week long celebration that focuses on doing something that Portland does exceptionally well: events for startups. I mean, we’re really good at it. This is just an excuse to celebrate how good we are at it. And to go to events. Because we’re good at that, too. The throwing and the going.
All events are individually run and managed. And there will be something to do, every single day. Many somethings, probably. What’s that? You already have an event going during that time period? Great! Let us know. We’ll link it up and promote it and whatnot. What’s that? You’ve been looking for an excuse to do an event and you want to throw it during that week? That’s awesome. The more events the merrier. Tell us about it. And then get to work on it. And then we’ll show up. Me and all of these other people. We’ll be there.
We’ve already been secretly planning a bit, behind the scenes, to ensure that we’ve got some awesome anchor events. But there’s still plenty of room for more events. Plenty. Of room.
Just interested in keeping tabs on what’s going on? Well, there are a number of options for that:
- Join the #startupweek channel on Portland Startups Slack. (Need access? Join Portland Startups Slack.)
- Follow @pdxstartupweek on Twitter.
- Like Portland Startup Week on Facebook.
- Sign up for email on Portland Startup Week.
- Follow the pdxstartupweek tag on Calagator.
I’m telling you. This whole 2016 thing? It’s going to be amazing. So let’s start it off on the right foot, shall we?
Looking forward to seeing you in February. And you. And you. And you. And…

Hi Rick,
DADO Labs is thinking of throwing down with some barbecue and coffee roasting/brewing/tasting for Portland Startup Week. How can we get our event on your program?
