Portland public podcasting posts up in an Airstream: Stream PDX

Portland has long been home to any number of interesting podcasts. With new shows cropping up all of the time. But even today, the intricacies of podcasting can still be cryptic and intimidating. (Sorry Adam Curry, it’s true.) That’s why it’s always nice to see projects that look to eliminate those barriers and get more voices—literally—on the air. Meet Stream PDX.

With the opening of the XOXO Outpost came the opportunity to manifest new ways to create and create together. When the space was announced a bunch of us immediately had the idea to create a place to produce audio, a studio that would be both for podcasters and video game makers, for interviewing all the amazing people that will be coming through the space, and for doing local and cross global audio collaborations. Now it’s happening. And we want you to be part of it!

If you have programming or project ideas let’s talk. If you are a podcaster and want to reserve time in the studio to make your magic, be in touch. If you want to learn how to do something, I bet we could make that happen. If you want to find people to work with, we can help. If you would like to support our efforts in some way, by all mean give us a ring!

For more, follow the project on Twitter or Medium. Or just head over to Stream PDX.
