If there’s one truism that gets repeated more than any other in the world of early stage startups, it is this: Go talk to potential customers. It doesn’t matter how great your idea is. It doesn’t matter how needed and obvious it seems to be. It doesn’t matter that you’re an expert in the field. If customers don’t see the need for your product, all you’ve got is a hobby.
So, to cement that thinking early, Lewis and Clark College’s Winterim program — a sort of Startup Weekend that lasts an entire week — is encouraging its participating student teams to seek feedback on the ideas they’re building.
And that where you come in. Because you’re the one who’s going to provide that feedback.
These surveys will be open until 9:00AM Pacific Standard Time on January 12, 2023. They’re open to anyone who has an opinion. (Although at least one has two surveys depending on your age.) All you have to do it click the links, answer the surveys to the best of your ability, and then go about your day knowing that you’ve done your good deed.
That wasn’t so hard was it?
Curious what happens to all of your insightful knowledge? Tune into the pitches at the end of the week.
