Pitch Latino goes on the road to support even more Latine entrepreneurs

Pitch Latino has become the marquee annual event to highlight amazing Latine startups in our midst — and the entrepreneurs that are building those companies. Now, Pitch Latino is looking to spread the word about even more awesome startups. By taking the show to Seattle.

Who: This event is a collaborative effort led by Fanny Tavera, MBA from the University of Washington Foster School of Business, Juan Barraza, a founding member of Latino Founders and Edgar Navas, CEO of Cliqa. Juan and Edgar are also the organizers behind PDX Startup Weekend Latino, in conjunction with Gabriel Host of The Shades of Entrepreneurship.

Event Vision: Revitalizing the Latinx community in Seattle by leveraging what the city offers. Seattle is home to a thriving, close-knit innovation network filled with innovators, creators, VC, and more. Through this event, we aim to showcase and support Latinx founders, fostering connections that bridge the gap in the current innovation scene.

The event will take place at 5:30PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Founders Hall on the UW campus. Tickets are $25 with all proceeds going to the winner.

If you’re interested in pitching, they are accepting applications. If you’re interested in attending, tickets are on sale now.
