As a Venture Fellow Cohort member, you will actively participate in our firm’s operations during the duration of the Fellowship. During this period, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, gaining valuable insights into the world of venture capital and fostering connections within the startup community. Please note that this position is remote only and about 10 hours a week minimum is expected (flexible).
Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Conduct research and market analysis to identify promising women-led tech startups that align with our investment criteria. Assist in sourcing potential investment opportunities and maintaining a deal flow pipeline.
- Due Diligence: Support the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing data related to potential investments, including market trends, financial projections, and competitive analysis.
- Startup Outreach: Collaborate with the investment team to reach out to founders of prospective startups, schedule introductory meetings, and assist in organizing virtual pitch sessions.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of startup interactions, investment opportunities, and cohort program metrics.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research on industry trends, market landscapes, and best practices in venture capital. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal use.
