So, as you may have seen, we managed to hire someone amazing to run Built Oregon, this week. Which means I get to “remove one of my hats” or “take something off of my plate” or whatever analogy you want to use. But more importantly, that means I’ll also gain a little more focus and a little more bandwidth. And there’s one thing that’s been gnawing at me…
I’ve received feedback on this from time to time, and I’ve been toying with the idea again… so I’d like to put it to a vote. Would you be interested in longer form interviews with people from the Portland startup community — and maybe Portland in general — as an additional type of content on this channel? (Bearing in mind that the current consistent content is a weekly recap of Portland startup news complemented by a smattering of more general startup guidance with a sprinkle of “behind the scenes” sort of stuff.)
So to be clear…I’m not looking to completely overhaul the channel. Just considering adding that new format if enough folks are interested. (I’ve run long form interview podcasts before, so I’m familiar with all of the challenges. But I’m willing to put in that effort if it would be valuable to folks.)
Please let me know if this would be interesting to you. This is just one of the ideas I have about scaling “getting to know people in Portland.” But it keeps coming up, time and time again.
