Bend Venture Conference announces semifinalists for Growth Stage

We’re about a month out from Bend Venture Conference, so stuff is starting to ramp up. Like picking the actual companies that are going to appear on stage. And while we don’t have the final list, they’re at least making the first cut. By naming the BVC Growth Stage semifinalists for 2025.

So who made the first cut…?

1. Airbuild (Portland, OR) – Airbuild creates modular, self-powered systems that capture carbon, purify water and turn waste into biochar.

2. Bold Reuse (Portland, OR) – Bold Reuse reduces costs and waste from single-use packaging through reusable packaging systems, a Bold Reuse is critical infrastructure for the circular economy.

3. CarbonBright (Bend, OR) – CarbonBright uses AI to automate product sustainability assessments, enabling brands to cut emissions, meet regulations and scale eco-design.

4. Datafi (Seattle, WA) – Making people smarter at work – they are building the information channel at work where everyone gets the data that matters most to them.

5.  MarineSitu (Seattle, WA) – MarineSitu provides marine infrastructure monitoring through their AI software platform, preventing costly interventions, saving time and increasing efficiency.

6. Photon Marine (Portland, OR) – Photon Marine is building the world’s most capable electric fleet.

7. Rapta (Tigard, OR) – Rapta supercharges U.S. Manufacturing by increasing capacity 30% through eliminating 98% of errors and accelerating workflows 10x faster.

8. Stiira (Portland, OR) – Stiira is a specialized SaaS solution designed to help organizations effectively manage the complexities of government-regulated leaves of absence.

We’ll have to wait and see who makes the shorter list of finalists who will be taking the stage in mid October. (And of course, tickets are still available if you’re interested in attending.)
