The first rule of Cascadia Builders Club is that you have to build stuff

Our friends across the river with North Bank Innovations are starting something in collaboration with Sam Keen of Portland AI Engineers fame: Cascadia Builders Club. So if you’re someone who makes things — startups, apps, hardware, the side project you’ve been poking at after the kids go to bed — this one is for you. Come see what’s actually getting built on the Washington side of the river, ask questions, and find your people.

A handful of local builders take the floor for short, hands-on demos of what they’re actually making (startups, apps, hardware, side projects, tools), and then we hang out and meet the people behind the work. No pitch, no hype reels, just real things and the people making them.

Doors open at 5:00PM for snacks and networking. From 5:30PM to 6:30PM, a handful of builders take roughly ten to fifteen minutes each to show what they’ve made. Then it’s open hangout and ad-hoc demos until 7:30PM. First one on the docket is host Sam demoing a low-cost, all-in-one microcontroller dev board with a color screen and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in.

So go make something — then come show it.

The Cascadia Builders Club’s first demo night happens Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at North Bank Innovations, 18110 SE 34th St, suite 120, Vancouver, Washington (enter off 34th Street). Free. Register here.
