Portland firmware and supply-chain security company Eclypsium has launched InfraTrust, a global hardware infrastructure security knowledgebase making mission critical infrastructure security data available faster. It’s searchable, continuously updated, and it aggregates security advisories and risk data from major enterprise hardware vendors into one place — which, if you’ve ever tried to run down a firmware advisory across a dozen vendor sites, sounds like a genuine relief.
Until now, security advisories and vulnerability information about hardware infrastructure have been scattered and hard to find. Security teams have to scour dozens of disparate vendor websites to collect necessary security information they use to keep their enterprises secure. As a result, vulnerabilities in the core infrastructure are forgotten or not prioritized.
Eclypsium points to the Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report +, noting that edge device exploits have risen eightfold since 2024 and the share of breaches involving a network device has tripled.
