I may have mentioned a time or two that Portland loves the open source stuff. No, I’m serious.
But what if you’re an entrepreneur interested in building a startup using open source software? I mean, there can’t be a group for that can there?
Of course there can. This is Portland, silly. The group you’re seeking is POSSE (Portland Open Source Software Entrepreneurs). And this week, the folks at POSSE will be discussing open source software up in the Cloud, Wednesday.
This month, Roberto A. Santiago will be sharing his experiences deploying open source software in the cloud. We’ll also have plenty of time for you to hang out and talk to each other on this topic or anything else.
POSSE is dedicated to helping businesses in the Portland area and beyond reduce costs, mitigate risk, and make software choice easy by utilizing open source software.
The POSSE Cloud meeting will be held Wednesday, October 21, at raSANTIAGO + Associates in the Olympic Mills Commerce Center.
For more information or to RSVP, see POSSE: Open Source Software in the Cloud on Upcoming.
