Paleo Plan: Learn how to eat like a caveman… or caveperson and get healthy

Portland site that helps you revert your eating habits to a time before processed food. Before preservatives. Learn to eat like a caveman with Paleo Plan

It’s post Thanksgiving. And you’re likely still suffering from some form of the “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing” post traumatic stress disorder. It’s only natural, given our annual homage to unbridled gluttony. No doubt, in this sadly altered state, you’re likely thinking, “I should really try to have a more healthy diet. And I mean it this time.”

Well, I may have the answer. Thanks to a new Portland-based site that helps you revert your eating habits to a time before processed food. Before additives and preservatives. Before, well, utensils. Like the Pleistocene era kind of “before.”

That’s right. Learn to eat like a caveman… err person and you could be on your way to a healthier lifestyle, with Paleo Plan.

After treating your body a little shoddy with sites like Unthirsty and Bac’n, Jason Glaspey is trying his hand at helping you get a little more healthy. And maybe work off a few of the pounds his other projects have added to your waistline.

The site offers meal plans, shopping lists, recipes, and more. All for about $10 per month.

Paleo Plan solves this by prescribing every meal–from breakfast, lunch, dinner and even a snack–for every day of the week, then provides a shopping list to make sure you have everything you need when it’s time to cook. We even list out the recipes, so all you have to do is eat.

So if you’re interested in getting healthy—and making it a little easier to stick to your diet, give Paleo Plan a try.

Oh. And interesting side note. Paleo Plan makes use of the WordPress Suma plugin, a slick little addition that gives WordPress users full control of subscription-based content. Thing is, it’s a Silicon Forest product, too. Built right down the road in McMinnville.

How cool is that? It’s always nice to buy local. Be it food. Or WordPress plugins.
