You remember Grove right? The awesome Portland-based company that made amazing bamboo cases for the iPhone 4?
Well, they’re not stopping there. Turns out, the iPad could use a little protection from lovingly handcrafted bamboo artwork too. That’s right. Grove now offers a bamboo iPad case.

I know right?
But they must outsource this stuff. There’s no way they hand make all of it.
Oh yes there is.
No anonymous sweat shops! We make everything ourselves in Portland, Oregon. We believe in ethical business practices and the only way to guarantee that our manufacturing is done responsibly is to do it ourselves.
Well, they’re doing an awesome job of it.
I think you should treat yourself to an iPhone or iPad case.

So much creative stuff happening in town. It’s great to see.
Go SE! These guys are upstairs from us in SE warehouse district and they certainly do make the stuff all themselves. Just goes to show you don’t have to raise millions or be missing a vowel to be awesome. 😉
And a nice choice of music too! (instrumental of a YACHT song)
