Ignite Portland has been one of the seminal events for the startup and tech renaissance here in Portland. And it’s one of a handful of events that helped spark—pun intended—and codify a segment of the tech community in Portland proper.
But it’s also important to bear in mind that Ignite Portland is an entirely volunteer run conference. That takes its toll. And that is why the next iteration of the event—Ignite Portland 10—won’t be taking place until mid 2011 at the very earliest. Read More
