It’s time for another Lunch 2.0, specifically one at Janrain this Wednesday, July 14.
The weather looks to be very pleasant, which is welcome, but alas, we won’t be on the rooftop deck as I’d initially predicted.
Apparently, the fire code has recently changed limiting the number of people allowed on the roof. Anyway, no biggie, Janrain’s offices are plenty interesting, and you won’t have to worry about flies in your food or sunburn.
I’ve been told that Janrain’s CEO, Brian Kissel, will be there to chat about how large brands are leveraging Janrain’s identity products to add instant value to their online properties. The whole cast from Janrain will be milling around, happy to bring you up to speed on Janrain.
Should be a good time with very topical content for our usual audience.
As usual, please be sure to RSVP over on Upcoming.

I’m always looking for hosts, so if you’re interested or know someone who might be interested in hosting a Lunch 2.0, drop a comment, hit me up on Twitter (@jkuramot), or find me at a Lunch 2.0, if you want to chat IRL.
Want to know what’s involved? Check out the how-to primer.
Big thanks to all the hosts who have hosted or plan to host Lunch 2.0. As with the majority of the tech events in Portland, sponsors make them happen. So, we humbly thank you.

Update: Janrain recently updated their branding, removing the camel case and changing their logo. I’ve updated accordingly.

Hi would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!|
Very random. I’ll let them know, maybe a domain mismatch or something.
Random: the lunch2.0 site is a reported attack/phishing site?
