Wanting to step up your front-end game? Modern Web Dev Workshop can help

Like everything these days, the world of Web development changes quickly. Staying on top of the latest technologies—let alone mastering them—can be a challenge for even the most talented developer. Local dev shop Planet Argon is hoping to help with a Modern Web Dev Workshop.

We all know that staying on top of recent web trends, tools, and best practices isn’t easy. The Modern Web Dev workshop will explore a number of resources that will, at the very least, help you launch a simple, elegant website by the end of the day. If that’s all you want—fantastic! If, however, you’re interested in front-end development, whether you’re just getting into the field or simply haven’t had the time to keep up with the latest and greatest, you’ll leave with a good understanding of a few different ways to build sites quickly, efficiently, and intelligently. We’ll discuss Bootstrap, SCSS, Jekyll, Github, and even touch on responsive design and jQuery. Everything we’ll cover is free/open source, smart, forward-thinking, and made by developers for themselves and their peers—built as solutions to specific problems.

The event is limited to 24 attendees, all of whom have a thorough understanding of HTML/CSS. So that the group is prepped to start tackling more compelling front-end challenges.

Early bird pricing of $299 ends March 22. So if this sounds like it might be interesting to you, you better move quickly.
