While there are some great all-around job boards in town—Mac’s List and PDX Pipeline immediately jump to mind—there are any number of new, more focused job boards cropping up that help a very particular sector of the marketing connect with gigs. The latest is ParlorGig.
I don’t know if you heard this, but apparently *looks around* Portland is seen as a hotbed for talent. No really. I swear. Talented people keep moving here. Awesome companies keep starting here. Already amazing companies open up offices here. It happens on a daily basis. Now if only there were a way to better connect all of that talent and all of those companies…

While it’s always nice to see the significant and measurable economic impact accelerators have for the startups they support, I’m equally pleased to see these startup resources growing, themselves. So when they’re hiring, that’s a really good thing.
